About David
-
For the past 15 years, David has helped people perform at a higher level. From 2006 to 2015, he coached elite-level triathletes to compete in the Ironman Triathlon, a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, and 26.2 mile run. His "fully integrated" approach to training was about preparing not only the body for the training and racing, but also the mind and the spirit. Starting in 2015, David transitioned from coaching athletes to coaching senior leaders and executive teams, using a similar approach to coaching triathletes. He found many parallels between preparing for a race, where conditions can change rapidly and unexpectedly, and preparing to lead in a VUCA world. David has worked with clients from diverse industries to develop new mindsets and skillsets that help them to be more effective and perform better in the constantly changing world. He has coached senior leaders and leadership teams in several major US companies including Blue Cross, Bristol Myers-Squibb, Merck, VMWare, and Liberty Mutual. David is a certified Integral coach from Integral Coaching Canada and holds several additional coaching certifications.

David developed an interest in psychology and spirituality at an early age, leading him to ask questions about how our human mind works and what leads to lasting happiness. He has learned that true happiness and well-being come from knowing ourselves intimately and authentically.
